The Name
ZENZI as a place of calm, focus and consciously celebrated culinary craft
ZENZI - The restaurant's name can be understood poetically as a name for a special place: calm, attentive and devoted to the craft of cooking.
Linguistically, this is an inspired interpretation rather than a direct translation. If an explicit Japanese reference were intended, ZENJI would be the more internationally understandable spelling.
For us, ZENZI remains its own invitation: to arrive, take time and enjoy good food with attention.

Some people remember a restaurant for a special dish. Others remember a smile, a conversation or an evening that lasted a little longer than planned.
That is the idea behind ZENZI. For us, food is more than preparing and combining good ingredients. It is a moment when people come together, share thoughts, laugh and take their time.
Our kitchen is inspired by Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and Korea. It brings together sushi, warm Asian classics, small plates to share and drinks that accompany a wonderful evening with pleasure.
